Android 4.3 Update

When android 4.3 was introduced together with Google's Nexus 7 2, I felt down because I just barely had my 7 for 2 weeks.

Regret tried to crawl on me, telling me I should have waited...if I only knew. But good thing Nexus 4 and 7's jellybean would be updated, too.

They said updates would happen around the 24th, but it was days after that when it rolled. New features such as privacy settings changes depending on who's using it (more of parental control), making Bluetooth more battery-friendly, and better performance when it comes to graphics.

I haven't checked those yet, but I feel that it really works faster this time. They got my android updated on the 30th.

And it's mine!

At the bottom right, a new Google app was installed together  with the upgrade. It's called 'keep'.

It helps me to become more productive. It's the best part of the upgrade!

As for Google keep, I didn't get it from the play store, it automatically popped up after the upgrade.

Conclusion: Android is not that difficult to use, you have a lot of apps to choose from, it's fast, and cheap :)

My husband's 27th birthday

 I wasn't able to make some temaki sushi (which he loves and requested the last time). I thought that lay-outing with Photoshop was common. So, I made a stop-motion video instead which took me about 3 to 3 1/2 hours to make with a 12-second output. I just wanted to say "Happy Birthday".
Guess I should have prepared a month before. (sigh)

I want music!

Okay, I can't stop myself but write about how I feel. (I'm supposed to be writing. Sorry boss +eunice )

 

I was reading some technical reviews today, and bumped into music minutes ago. I just remembered the day my dad bought me a Yamaha keyboard when I was about 9 or 10 after being serious with my piano lessons at age of 8. But things got difficult and I had to voluntarily pawn it for P500. Years went by and we weren't able to redeem it and I let go of music.

 

College came and I enrolled in a free piano class for a semester. All of the students were lent a keyboard. I would play even late at night that my board mates were annoyed.

 

Anyhow, the last time that I played an acoustic piano was about 5 months ago. Someday, I'm going to have my own. I will teach my children to love music and fill our home with singing.

Sun in the Night -YUI

I just love the idea of open caskets. However, such is not allowed in the Philippines for sanitary reasons. Maybe because our embalming process is not that good.

I hope I will not be sued by YUI.

Jaro at Night

Today, I want to write about my husband. I just can't help but let you know how much our courtship helped me with my decision to marry him.

After a dinner date with a friend, we decided to take some of the food that we have not eaten. We would just give it to my friends at the dormitory.

While walking towards the jeepney stop, we saw a street vagrant, who in our judgment was not sane.

I would always have the feeling that they might do me some harm. So, I kept myself at a distance though I really wanted to help.

That moment, I was thinking to give our food to him instead. Probably, he skipped supper and would sleep with growling stomach.

To my surprise, Sherwin said that we should give our food to him. He also felt the same way. He was not scared of him; and had really compassion towards the man.

It is not every day that I feel the same way with people like him. I see them walking on the streets, but nothing stirs me inside. But that night, it was different. I’m glad I and Sherwin shared the same feeling.

I always wanted to marry someone who loves others so it wouldn’t be hard for me to extend help to those in need.

I saw his gentleness. You would not think of him being like that; especially with his strong character.
